Just thought I'd give you a peek-a-boo at my little collages made just for the Trunk Show Jewelry (and maybe some other little treasures...)!
1. Mini-Collages are created using blank playing cards. Layers of *real* antique ephemera are torn and places as a base.
2. Paint is smooshed here and there. I rarely wash my brush...so colors are spread and mixed haphazardly (the way I like it).
3. More layers of smaller antique ephemera are added.
4. More paint smooshing...to blend it all together.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
5. I doodle with a charcoal pencil. Squiggles. Scallops. Dots. More is more!
6. Little extra touches of color. Quickly. Randomly.
7. And then I cut it all up! Showing how part of one of the collages became the background in "Once Upon A Time".
The End.

Beautiful! I love them! How do you get the patina so dark? It's perfect!
