This past summer I had my first Workshop Weekend at my studio and it was an amazing weekend. Everyone made beautiful jewelry, but even better, made new friendships. I just couldn't resist doing it again...
So, I've scheduled five Workshops at my studio in February and June of 2008 including SOLDERING FOR VIRGINS, THE GIRLS GOT GOTHIC, and TOTALLY TIARA (a special workshop which I haven't taught for a while and probably will not teach again). Register for just one, or more, as you desire.
The best part is that each workshop will be limited to 10 students. This is so exciting for me as I can personally spend more one-on-one time with each student and we can get to know one another better. Last summer, I believe we giggled far too much (ok, you can't giggle TOO much).
Having a workshop in my studio also gives me a reason to sweep the floor! And go through my drawers! But I've planned these workshops to coordinate with FIRST THRUSDAY, an evening art walk in Portland where galleries are open, artful booths line the streets, and there is an exciting buzz all around. Each day of the Workshop, lunch at the Paragon (home of the Strawberry Drop) is included.
The workshops are:
Friday, February 8 - SOLDERING FOR VIRGINS
Saturday, February 9 - SOLDERING FOR VIRGINS
Sunday, February 10 - THE GIRLS GOT GOTHIC
Friday, June 6 - SOLDERING FOR VIRGINS
Saturday & Sunday, June 7-8 - TOTALLY TIARA
