A few weeks ago I was blessed with the presence of many incredible woman visiting my studio for a weekend workshop. It's not something I would have ever expected to do (I expected to be hiding in the closet with the cat...the shy side). But I took the plunge and invited those that wanted to attend up to my special sacred place (aka studio) for a workshop or two. What I really didn't expect was to be surrounded by such beautiful women, with kind souls and hearts of gold. I truly enjoyed the company of each woman that walked into my studio and was personally touched by their spirit. The weekend was more than a workshop...we laughed...we cried...we got flux in our eyes...we tried strawberry drops at the Paragon....we shopped at Bernadette Breu...we made wonderful trinkets...we fed Joseph the stray bird...we ate cupcakes...did I mention we tried the strawberry drops? Time flew, and before I knew it, it was Monday again. But this very special weekend, and the warm-fuzzies it conjured up, will stay with me for a long time. These are the things I learned this weekend: Vice grips do have their benefits. Every cell phone has its place. There is always room for cupcakes. And, most importantly, no regrets (Q).
